Leather dog collar and lead workshop at Elkstone Studios

We are delighted to be able to offer some leather-working workshops at Elkstone Studios in their fabulous tipi as part of their Workshop Wednesdays.

With our four-legged friends playing such an important role in our lives, this 3½ hour workshop we will guide you in making a bespoke collar and lead for them.

With a choice of colours from our ever-popular leather and felt dog collection, you will learn how to construct the collar and then get creative with your lead.

At the workshop you will:

* Choose your size and colour of collar and lead. We will offer poppy & sky, tan & natural, olive & raspberry, teal & mustard and tan & marine. We will have several of each colour and size but if you would like to make sure you get the one you have your heart set on, then do please leave a note at the checkout when you purchase your ticket.

* Add the hardware to the collar using rivets in either a brass or nickel finish.

* Learn how to cut, burn and cap off the end of the dog leash rope which you will stitch securely before adding the handle and the hardware (trigger/O-ring).

* Using coloured paracords, you will add the ‘whipping’ to make your lead truly one of a kind.

* We will also have our brass letter stamps should you wish to emboss your dog's name onto the collar or lead.
