Mindful Mosaic Workshop

Mindful Mosaics is coming to The Elk Tipi at Elkstone Studios! Get crafty surrounded by nature and greenery in the cosy Tipi. Perfect for beginner or experienced crafter.

You can choose from square, oblong or round boards to decorate as you wish. Please have a think about where you want to display your finished piece, the backboard can either be suitable for indoor or outdoor use. You could make a house number or name, something floral or just go where the tiles take you and make something abstract. You’ll have a selection of glossy and matt tile pieces to choose from and some glass mosaic pieces. If you have anything you’d like to bring along to include like old china or tiles- please do!

OUTDOOR: a choice of square and rectangle boards that are suitable for outdoor use.

INDOOR: a choice of round, square or rectangle MDF boards that are only suitable for indoor use.

COASTERS: a set of 4 square mdf coasters that you can decorate

PLANT STAKES: I will have a selection of shapes (including but not limited to: (butterflies, bees, flowers, moons and dragonflies) choose 3 to decorate and we’ll add a wire so you can add them to your houseplants! If you have any special requests for shapes, send me a message.

As with all crafting, there’s the potential for a bit of mess, so please bear that in mind when you choose your outfit for the evening.

You’ll go away with a goodie bag including all you need to grout and finish your piece at home.

There will be complimentary tea and coffee available in the Tipi, unfortunately Knead bakery will be closed at this time of day.
